With Halloween just around the corner, I thought that I would give my 10 Minute Vintage Doily Twig Tree a little spooky touch! Halloween has only just started to catch on here in Australia in the last few years. My favourite part is seeing all the kids in our neighbourhood all dressed up in their cute costumes. Catching up with the neighbours that we haven’t seen in a while is also a fun part as well. So let’s get started on a 10 Minute Halloween Bat Twig Tree to add to your Halloween decorating this year!
10 Minute Halloween Bat Twig Tree
Supplies needed:
- Twig branches from your garden
- Vintage Doily’s
- Black Cardboard
- Pencil
- Bat Template
- Scissors
- Small Wooden Pegs
- White Enamel Jug
Step 1 – Print out your Bat Template and cut out each bat. Then using a pencil trace around the bats onto your black cardboard. For my size twig tree, I cut out 6 of the smaller bats.
Step 2 – Insert your twigs into your enamel jug. For further details on how I stencilled No.1 to my jug click here. Using some scrap paper scrunch it up and place into the jug because this will prevent the twigs from moving around.
Step 3 – Using small pegs, clip on the bats around your tree. You can find further details on how to make a Vintage Doily Tree click here!
Voila….. There you have a super quick 10 Minute Halloween Bat Twig Tree!
Sometimes it’s just nice to be able to add a little something to the decor that you have. These Bats sure did the trick!
