Raggedy Bits For All Your DIY Projects & Home Decor
Cleaning and Preparing:

Prep Your Tin: Give your canister a good clean to remove any dust or grime.
- Take the floral foam and firmly press it into the tin. Make sure that it is tightly packed to avoid things moving about when you add things to your vignette.
- Crumble up some book pages and begin to glue them into place to cover the floral foam.
- This step is completely up to you but I just adored the lid on this tin. I embedded it into the floral foam and then secured it into place with hot glue in crumbled book pages.
- Now it is the fun part to start building your vignette! I started with what I wanted at the back. So taking the sweet Kewpie Doll that I found at Raggedy Bits Emporium at Rusty Ridge Shed Booth and glued her in with hot glue. I also popped some glue on the back of her head to secure the lid and her.
Now Time To Make Some Paper Hearts:
6. Using various shaped circles cut out as many circles as you would like using the Raggedy Bits Vintage Wallpaper Printable. I used paint pot lids and a paper plate.
7. Cut out the circles and fold them backwards and forwards until no paper is left. Glue down the centre and fan out to make a sweet paper heart. Repeat until all of your hearts are finished.

- Using some Fusion Espresso Wax, age the edge of the hearts to give an aged effect.
- Then take the skewers, and hot glue into place to create picks.
- Paint some smaller hearts in Cranberry and Soft Pink and distress the edges. Seal with clear wax.
- Add one to Kewpie’s chest and the other to the larger heart. You can also embellish the other hearts with some heart-shaped buttons.
- Now start adding Greenery and flowers and beads to your vignette to fill the empty spaces. Finish up by adding some Dimond Dust Glitter with mod podge.
- Add some labels. I used the ones that we used in the DIY Surprise Craft Box. You can make them in Canva and print them on your printer. I added some Dimond Glitter around them as well.
