My Hubby and I had loads of fun going on our Date Nights last year after I gave him this for Valentines Day!
I first saw this brilliant idea on one of my favorite blogs
Clean and Scentsible
but wanted to give it my own personal Raggedy Bits touch!

Supplies needed:

Step 1 – Download the FREE verseandthen the 12 month tags hereand here then let the fun begin!

Step 2– Once you have downloaded and printed all three pages onto the white card stock, start cutting all of the tags and the verse out. Make sure that when you are printing out the verse that you set the page size to be 13cm x 18cm. That way you can use the other half of the card to mount the verse onto.Mount the verse onto white card stock using complementing washi tape.

The fun part Step 3 – Using your fine sharpie pen write down on each tag your date night for that month.

Some date examples:
  • DVD and popcorn night
  • Picnic in our garden
  • Weekend day trip to your favourite town
  • Games night

There’s so many little things that you can do which don’t cost a bucket load and can be lots of fun!

Step 4 – embellishing the envelopes also with washi tape. You could use buttons, stamps, whatever you like and then tie all of the envelopes together with matching Bakers Twine!

The possibilities are endless!

Step 5 – Pop the verse and all the envelopes into a brown lunch bag and embellished it with a grubbied paper doily and a Valentine card. I found this over at  the The Graphics Fairy.  Add some jute and a cute little peg.

I hope you have as much fun as hubby and I did and boy are we looking forward to another fun filled year ahead of date nights!!

Happy Creating!
