After recently making some neutral wooden pumpkins for Halloween, I thought that it would be super fun to make some that would make some larger ones for our porch. Today I’m sharing how to make Vintage Farmhouse Porch Pumpkins using a fun technique using IOD Stamps.

Step 1 – Give your wood a coat of Cotton using your brush. Let Dry.
Step 2 – Then paint again quite thickly with Cotton. I painted in all different directions to create some texture. You want it thick enough that when you stamp it leaves an impression in the paint. Using your Rose Toile Stamp press into the wet paint. Let dry and then repeat for the remaining sides and pumpkins. {See Below Video}
Step 3 – Water down some Coffee Bean and wash over all the pumpkins. Then use a rag and wipe off excess. Let dry and take your 120 grit sandpaper to sand lightly. This highlights the stamp impression. Wax to seal using your wax brush.

Final touches!
Step 4 – Glue on the glass knobs, faux greener and jute bow and you’re all done!

Wow, these look just like real concrete! I subtle ink stamps are so pretty and the glass knobs add such class to these porch pumpkins. Very nice!
