Quite often more than not we have things around our home that need a little spruce up. It’s definitely a cheaper way than going out and buying more furniture. Today I’m sharing Two Easy Vintage Farmhouse Furniture Upcycles that you can apply to any piece of furniture.
Two Easy Vintage Farmhouse Furniture Upcycles
Supplies needed:
- 1 x small table and drawers
- TSP
- 120 grit sandpaper
- Fusion Mineral Paint – Pressed Fern
- Fusion Mineral Paint – Raw Silk Tester
- S30 Brush
- O35 Brush
- Water Mister
- IOD – Wall Flower Decor Transfer
- Brayer
- IOD – Kindest Regard Decor Stamp
- White Ink
- Clear wax
- Wax brush
Step 1 – Give your table and drawers a good clean with TSP. Then sand any uneven surfaces on both pieces.

Step 2 – Give both of your pieces 2 coats of Pressed Fern. Let dry.
Give the frame of your drawers a coat of wax to seal using your wax brush.
Blending Time
Step 3 – Pop out some Raw Silk and spray the top of your table. Using a clean brush apply some Raw Silk in the centre of the table. Then using your dry O35 begin the blending process by going left to right and up and down until your happy with your blending.
If you find that your brush is dragging spray with your mister.
Let everything completely dry and then apply your transfer.
Then taking your Kindest Regard stamp, apply the ink and lightly press over your design. Let dry.
Step 4: Using your 120 grit sandpaper lightly distress. Then seal with wax.
Step 5 – Pop your drawers back in and your all done!
