Slowly but surely things are starting to come together in out master bedroom. Don’t get me wrong there is still plenty to do but my recent Simple Vintage Farmhouse Music Sheet Wall Art is one step closer to making our little space super special for us to enjoy. Hubby and I just want to keep things nice and simple and calm.
Simple Vintage Farmhouse Music Sheet Wall Art
Supplies needed:
- Old Frame
- Music Sheet A3 size – I just used a double page from the centre of a music book which was the perfect A3 size
- Double sided tape
- Printer
- Chalk Paint
- 120 grit sandpaper and sander
- Wax to seal
Step 1 – Paint your frame and distress to your liking. Seal with wax.
Step 2 – Print out the saying “we still do” onto the music sheet. I used the Nightstar font. If you don’t have access to a printer that prints onto A3 paper places like Office Works can do it for you for around $1.
Step 3 – Add the double-sided tape to the back of the music sheet. Hang your frame and then centre the music sheet and attach to the wall.
And there you have some super simple Vintage Farmhouse Wall Art! This cute little Vintage Low Boy is getting a makeover this weekend and can’t wait to give it a new lease on life where we will display the truck from our wedding day. If you’re wondering what the meaning behind it is. My hubby worked in his 110-year-old family run sawmill out in the country for most of his life and the government ended up buying them out! The little logs were to symbolise that part of his life that he is so very proud of. It was a little surprise that I added to the mantel that was behind our bridal table and he was totally chuffed when he saw it!
I find it’s the little things that mean something to you and your family sure do make your house a home!
Happy painting!
