It’s Day 8 and we are sharing Christmas In A Jar Ideas!
Simple Vintage Farmhouse Christmas Book Page Jar
Supplies needed:
- 1 x 3 tiered stacking glass jar
- Old Book Pages – This book was falling apart which I have been using for all my craft projects
- Number Tags
- Black and White Saddle Stitch Ribbon
- Scissors
Step 1 – Crumble up some of your book pages and add to each layer of the jar.
Step 2 – Measure a length of ribbon to go around the top of the jar. Leaving enough to tie a bow. Then pop your number tags in under the bow and you’re all done.
Pending on what sort of decor you’re going with, you could pop anything in each section of the jar to make a fun Christmas in a jar! But keeping with our Bingo and Vintage Clock Christmas Tree the neutral colours of the book pages matched the tree nicely.
Happy Decorating!

The 3 tier stacking jar is beautiful and you can use it for so many things. So creative to use the book pages and the black and white decor is beautiful! Love it
Thank you so much, Jenny!
Okay, now I NEED a stacking jar because the possibilities for decorating them are endless. I’ve never seen these before! Your crinkled book pages look great with your decor, Sam.

That turned out so pretty! I never would have thought to put the book pages in there like that!

Most definitely, Carlee! The possibilities are endless!
What a unique idea! They’d be really fun it you could find sheet music with Christmas carols on them so that just bit and pieces of the songs could be seen through the glass.
Oh what a lovely idea!! Love it!!
