One of the wonderful things about this time of year is all the decorating don’t you think? You get to let your creativity go crazy and be inspired. But I know that sometimes time can be an issue as we all lead very busy lives. Today I’m teaming up with some of my awesome blogging pals to share our holiday spaces. So I’m sharing our Simple Farmhouse Style Christmas Entryway.
Simple Farmhouse Style Christmas Entryway
One of the things I always try to do is use things that I already have. Moving them around the house from room to room not only saves you a tonne of money but also allows you to enjoy your goodies in a different light. I recently made this Farmhouse Bench which is in our entryway all year round.
With this spot being the first thing we see when we walk in the front door I wanted it to feel welcoming. Not just for us but for our family and friends when they come to visit too. With a twist of ahhhh, it’s good to be home feeling. So keeping everything simple was a must. There’s nothing worse than coming home after a busy day and be welcomed with clutter.
Adding things like lace doilies always add a nice vintage touch.

What a great entryway, Sam. It is cozy and unexpected, particularly with that vintage typewriter (which I am obsessed with!). I love how it seamlessly fits into the entry and adds a lot of character in that space. So lovely!
Aren’t old typewriters just the best!! So much character and fun!! Thank you so much for your kind words!
