Malteser Chocolate Banana Tart

    Ingredients

    Caramel Sauce
    Instructions
    1. Pop your oreo biscuits into a food processor and pulse until fine breadcrumbs. Add butter and pulse until completely combined.
    2. Lay your 6 x 10cm fluted tart tins with removable bases onto a backing tray. Spoon biscuit mix evenly into each base. Using the back of a spoon press mixture firmly up the sides and bases of the tins. Refrigerate for 20 minutes.
    3. For the filling add cream cheese and1/3 cup of cream to a mixing bowl. Double boil the chocolate to melt and add to mixing bowl. Mix ingreadients until smooth and think. Spoon evenly into your bases.
    4. Set aside 1/2 cup of cream for the caramel sauce. Beat the remaning cream until thick. Dollop over the tarts. Slice bananas and add to the top. Crush the maltesers slightly in a snap lock back and a rolling pin. Sprinkle over the top of the tarts.
    Caramel Sauce
    1. Place sugar, lemon juice and 2 tbs of water in a medium saucepan. Over medium heat stir until combined and mixture starts to simmer. Cook for 4 to 6 minutes or until it starts to turn a golden colour remove from heat. Remember that sugar continues to cook after it is removed from the heat. Let cool slightly and add the set aside cream and salt. Mix and let sit. When nice and thick and gooey spoon over tarts.
