Sometimes when you find the coolest piece of furniture it doesn’t come with hardware or it’s the wrong colour or broken. Today I’m going to show you an easy way on How To Paint Furniture Hardware in any colour that you like!
How To Paint Furniture Hardware
This happens to me all the time but most recently when I ordered some draw pulls for our Monthly Painting Party Project. They were suppose to come in black but came in a silvery gold and didn’t suit the piece I was working on at all! Let me show you how I fixed them the easy way.
Supplies needed:
- Hardware
- Any Colour Of Fusion Mineral Paint – I used Coal Black
- Paint Brush
- Plastic Gloves
Step 1 – Pop on your cloves and each component of your hardware 2 coats of paint. Leting each coat dry in between. Leave for 24 hours before putting on your furniture to give the paint time to cure.
And that seriously is how easy it is to transform existing hardware or the wrong colour for your piece! No top coat or sealer required.
So you can see that they definitly suit the finished piece for our Monthly Paitning Party much better painted black.
