Here are some frequently asked questions about the Painting Party which I hope goes some way forward to explaining all the fun to be had. This also was our first project below.
What is the Monthly Painting Party?
Throughout each month we take a piece of furniture or thrifted items and give it a new lease on life! I teach you lots of fun painting techniques. For example Blending, Distressing, Stamping and different types of finishes.
If you’re not sure where to start and that pile of goodies is starting to pile up there are a tonne of ideas coming your way. Not just from me but from other Monthly Party Members as well!
What’s the difference than the blog posts I share?
You have unlimited access to in-depth video tutorials where I go deeper than my blog posts and youtube videos to share with you all the techniques when it comes to furniture painting. You get to pause, reply and start from where you left off from the comfort of your own home.
You get to ask me any questions that you may have and be apart of an amazing motivated group over on Facebook, where I will also be sharing Facebook Lives.
What is included with the Monthly Painting Party?
You receive patterns, workbook and printables. 2 to 3 projects a month, Painting Challenges and if you’re in Australia or New Zealand you can even have the products that I use for each project delivered straight to your door. There will also be lots of fun seasonal projects for you to make and decorate with or even gift to your friends and family.
What sort of techniques will I learn?
All the “in” techniques will be taught throughout your membership.
For example:
- the types of finishes
- how to prep a piece of furniture
- how to stop bleed through
- how to apply decor transfers, moulds and stamps
- how to blend
- how to layer paint
- how to glaze and so much more
