Welcome to the next day of our 5 Day Halloween Decorating Challenge! Yesterday we made some Mini Ghost Treats using some cupcake cups and Chupa Chups! Today it’s all about a yummy Halloween Spooky Skull Bone Ice Drink. Because you can’t be all dressed as your favourite Halloween character, waiting patiently for the kiddies to come trick or treating without a spooky drink in-hand now can we?
5 Day Decorating Challenge
DAY 2 – Halloween Spooky Skull Bone Ice Drink
Supplies needed:
- Skull and Bone Ice Tray – They are also available in Big W if you’re in Australia.
- Grenadine
- Skeleton Drinking Straws – Big W if you’re in Australia!
- Toothpick
- Lemonade
- A splash of something stronger if you wish! 😉
Step 1 – Fill up your ice tray with water and place on a flat tray that fits nicely in your freezer. Add a couple of drops of grenadine to each mould. Give it a little stir (just like the witches do) with your toothpick and pop in the freezer.
Step 2 – Once frozen pop them out of the tray and make some more!
Step 3 – Plonk them into your favourite drinking glass! Drizzle the lemonade over the spooky ice cubes. Add a splash of something stronger if you wish. Add your skeleton straw! Watch him though ….. he may try to drink it all while you’re not looking!
And now all that’s left is for you to enjoy!
Join me tomorrow for another fun part of our 5 Day Halloween Challenge!

What a fun drink for a Halloween party! I need to track down one of those ice cube trays.
They were so easy to use Lynn!!
I’ve never seen such an ice tray before. This is so much fun! The skeleton drinking straws are great as well. It looks like you’re ready to welcome your Halloween party guests.
Thank you, Julia!! It was well received by our Halloween guests!!
