Supplies needed:

  • Large Bat Template – Where you can find my FREE template
  • Black Cardstock
  • Staples
  • Food Grade Gift Bags – I purchased mine from Woolworths Australia but these ones from Amazon will be fine.
  • Scissors
  • Lollies- I purchased all of my yummy goodies from USA Foods Australia
  • Chalk or if you’re after something more permanent a chalk pen

Step 1 – Print out the large Bat Template and cut around the large bat. Trace around the template onto the black cardstock the required amount of bats. Cut them all out.

Step 2 – Fill up your treat bags with Halloween favours. Then using either chalk or chalk pen write onto the bat’s bellies some spooky words. Attach to the tops of the bags using a stapler.

  1. These turned out so cute. I wish we lived in a neighborhood with a lot of kids to do this for. I could do them for our church Trunk or Treat but that would be a few hundred 🙂

  2. These are super cute Sam and I love that it’s so easy to make these! My girls would never want to open these if they got them!!! Have fun at your markets and also a fun Halloween!

    1. Thank you so much, Katrin! It’s looking like it will be raining all weekend, though…. so hopefully the weather man is wrong 🙁 You also have a fun Halloween too with your family!
