So today I’m sharing a fun Farmhouse Wooden Paddle project inspired by another all-time favourite Christmas movie of ours, Elf.

Farmhouse Wooden Paddle: Inspired by Elf the Movie
*This post contains affiliate links. Which means I may receive a very small commission to go towards my blog maintenance. It does NOT result in additional charges to you or cost you anything extra. See here for my full disclosure*
Supplies needed:
- 1 x small wooden paddle – I found this one at Kmart Australia but these ones from Amazon will do the trick
- Elf quote label or your Silhouette Cameo
- Black Vinyl
- Transfer Tape
- Old Store Card
- Christmas Ribbon
- Christmas Tree Sprigs
- Glue Gun
Step 1– If you’re using your Silhouette Cameo, open up the Silhouette Studio and design your “The Best Way to Spread Christmas Cheer is singing loud for all to hear” design using your favourite font. Send the label off to cut, weed unwanted vinyl and apply your transfer tape. Use your old store card and rub firmly to ensure your design adhere’s to the transfer tape.
Step 2 – Peel off the backing sheet and apply your label to your paddle. Use your old store card to press down firmly.
Step 3 – Slowly peel back the transfer tape. If the design keeps lifting keep rubbing until it adheres to the board.
Step 4 – Make a bow using your Christmas ribbon. Then using your glue gun, glue the bow to the neck of the paddle and attach the Christmas sprig.
There you have a fun Farmhouse Christmas Paddle with a quote from a very funny Christmas movie. If you’re pressed for time and know someone who would love a paddle for Christmas you find them over in my shop.
