We are coming to the tail end of our 12 Days of Christmas Blog Hop! And today it’s all about Christmas Tablescapes. Along with the kitchen, our dining room table is one of my most favourite places to hang out. It’s a gathering place where we love to spend time, chit chat, play board games and of course have plenty of giggles along the way! So when it comes time for special occasions I love to dress up our dining room table and make it even more of a special place for us all to hang out. Vintage trucks are one of the many things I enjoy to collect so this year I’m sharing our Farmhouse Vintage Truck Tablescape!

Farmhouse Vintage Truck Tablescape
One thing is for sure I kept everything super simple this year. Using things that I already had like my Vintage Book Page Table Runner from last year.
It is amazing how different your displays can look when using the same decor. It also saves you a tonne of money!
Incorporating things like these old vintage sifters that I have up all year round add a lovely vintage touch.
Lots of layers always add a nice lift to your tablescapes. Starting with a vintage linen tablecloth I then added the red and white table runner.
Then again with my pallet table runner.
From there add height in the centre of the runner and then taper out like a pyramid.
For each place setting it is the same kind of concept.
Charger, then wreath, small plate and then your vintage truck.
I don’t know about you but I’m sure getting excited about Christmas!

Happy Tablescaping!!

Oh my goodness Sam, that is so cute
Thank you, Deborah!
Using the vintage sifter is a great tip. Love that idea. Where did you find those gorgeous chargers? Of course, the vintage truck centerpiece is the perfect focal point, so festive and fun.
Thank you, Leanna! I found the chargers at Daily Decor Steals 🙂
I love your tablescape! The small wreaths and trucks on the plate settings make it so fun.
Thank you, Erlene! It sure was fun setting it all up 🙂
Oh how cute is that Sam. Love the 2 & 5 you added to the old vintage sifters. That’s such a special touch. Your whole table looks so welcoming and homely. The kind of place where you can just park your butt and enjoy family and friends
Thank you, Michelle! That’s exactly what my family did on Christmas Day! It was so lovely to see their faces all light up!!
What a pretty tablescape Sam! I LOVE that little truck, and the sifter holding the tree. cute idea! Next year I am going to have to find me a little red truck, I’ve seen so many cute way’s to use the truck with Christmas decor.
Aren’t they just the cutest, Linda!! I think between little red trucks and bottle brush trees I have developed a bit of love and addiction to collecting them LOL!!
Where did you find the bigger and smaller trucks used in your fantastic tablescape? They are so cute and I have been looking forever for some trucks like this. Very creative table.
Hi there Joyce, I found them at the Reject Shop but it was about 4 years ago. I hope you find some in your travels! Thank you so much for stopping by 🙂
