Organising our pantry has been on my “to do” list for EVER!! So to start the process I decided to start with all of the dry goods like flour, sugar, spaghetti etc. Because all of these items were stored in big coffee jars it really didn’t leave a lot of space. So after a quick trip to Ikea and grabbing some smaller jars let the organising begin! Sharing how to Organise your Pantry with Farmhouse Pantry Labels.
How to Organise your Pantry with Farmhouse Pantry Labels
Supplies needed:
- Farmhouse Pantry Labels
- Ikea Korken Jar – H 16.5 cm x D 12 cm – These are the medium size and I used these for all of the smaller dry goods.
- Ikea Korken Jars – H 21.5 cm x D 12.5 cm – These are the larger size and I used these for all of the dry goods that I use regularly, like Plain Flour Self Raising Flour etc.
- Old Store Card – This is used to get all of the air bubbles out of the labels when transferring.
Step 1 – Wash and let your jars air dry. Using 2 stabilisers rest the jars in between to stop them from rolling. Rolled up tea towels also work a treat.
Step 2 – Grap your Farmhouse Pantry Labels and peel off the white backing.
Step 3– Line up your label so that it is centred on the jar front. Slightly bending the label adhere the centre and then let on side drop using your now free hand to smooth out that one side. Then drop the other side and repeat.
Step 4 – Using an old store card burnish the label to ensure all air bubbles are removed.
Step 5 – Carefully remove the transfer paper. If the vinyl starts to lift press the transfer paper back onto the glass and burnish again.
There you have a nice easy way to organise your pantry and give it a nice new farmhouse look!
So now to go and pop them into your organised pantry.
Happy Labelling!
Don’t have time to make now? Be sure to PIN for later 🙂

Hi Kathy, Sorry for my late reply! You can find them over in my shop either buy the link above or following this link https://raggedy-bits.com/DIY/farmhouse-pantry-labels/
Hello! These are lovely! How do you wash jars once they’re on? Cheers, Kathryn
Hi there Kathryn, Great question!! You can wipe the outside of the jars carefully with a damp cloth and towel dry but don’t immerse the labels in water for long periods of time because just like any other labels they will come away. You can go about cleaning the inside of your jars as per normal. I have had my labels on my pantry jars going on 3 years and they are still going strong 🙂
Where do I get the farmhouse country labels ?
Hi there Glenys! If you click on the link in the supply list it will take you straight to them 🙂 Let me know if you have any problems!
