Since moving into our new home our laundry has been in need of a little organising. So yesterday was the perfect day to do so because my planned painting project got canned due to the rain. Not that I am complaining in the slightest about the rain because we needed it so desperately to fill up our water tank! Sharing today How to Organise your Laundry with Farmhouse Laundry Labels.
Organise Your Laundry with Farmhouse Laundry Labels
- 1 x set of 7 Farmhouse Laundry Labels
- Dictionary Print Tags – I found these in Spotlight but any style of tags will do. You could even find a newsprint scrapbooking stamp and stamp your tags.
- Old Store Card
- Peg Caddy – I found the peg caddy at Kmart Australia but Amazon has a similar galvanised caddy you could use.
- Washing Powder Tin -I also found the powder tins at KMart Australia but Amazon has a container. All you would need to do is use nail polish remover to remove the biscuit lettering.
Step 1 – Grab your store card and rub firmly both back and front of your Laundry Labels. Carefully remove your transfer paper and line up the label on the tag. Secure into place and rub over the lettering with your store card. Slowly remove the clear transfer paper. Run your store card back over the tags to ensure the wording is adhered properly.
Step 2 – Repeat the process until the labels are on the tags.
And there you have a fun way to add some organisation to your Laundry! No more accidentally get a black sock in your whites!
I am yet to find some nice Vintage Farmhouse style baskets to add my tags to. But I’m loving them as decoration for the moment on this oval galvanised tub!
Happy Laundry Organising!
