Being organised sure does have its bonuses! After organising my panty a little while back, my craft room studio has been on my list of things to do. But with moving and getting settled in that all just had to get put on the back burner. Plus over the years I have accumulated so much stuff!! Sure to be a massive job. So today I’m sharing How To Organise Your Craft Roon with Farmhouse Craft Labels.
How To Organise Your Craft Room With Farmhouse Craft Room Labels
After organising my pantry I fell in love instantly with how easy it was to find everything and not having to dig through the pantry to find that one ingredient that you needed to make a recipe. So, of course, it made perfect sense to make this happen in my craft room/studio. Especially as this is where I run my workshops and sure would make it not so cluttered.
Supplies needed:
- Tins, jars, plastic containers of all shapes and sizes that will fit your craft supply’s nice and neatly. I found most of mine at Kmart or the Dollar Store
- Farmhouse Craft Room Labels – Or some stickers or labels that you can hand write your supply’s on
- Scissors
- Old Store Card
Step 1 – Using your store card, rub firmly over the back and front of your labels.
Step 2 – Peel away the transfer paper from the labels so that the label has adhered to the clear side.
Labelling Time!
Step 3 – Make sure that the surface you apply your label to is clean and dust free. Line up the label in the centre of your tin, jar or plastic tub and apply the label. Using your old store card rub firmly.
Step 4 – Remove the clear transfer tape and lightly run your finger over the label to make sure that the entire label has stuck to the surface.
Having these smaller containers on a shelf have made it easier for all of those little bits of ribbon or lace that I can still use in my projects (Because I really don’t like wasting things) and instead of being shoved in a plastic bag getting into a tangle and forgotten about.
So at least this is a start!!
I look forward to sharing the completed makeover of my craft room/studio in the very near future.
Happy Organising!

Thank you so much, Deborah! It’s nice to be finally tackling this gigantic project!!
I was intrigued by the colorful buckets with labeling, opened the article to find it was written by a Murfreesboro resident. I also live in Murfreesboro. Small world!
Hi there Clarissa, thank you for your kind comment. I live all the way over in Australia is a place called Bowen Mountain. Do they have a Bowen Mountain in Murfreesboro?
