It’s hard to believe that it’s that time of the month again for Farmhouse Hens! This month it’s all about Christmas Ornaments and we have all been super busy making some to share with you. If you have been following me for a while you know I have a thing for music sheets! So I’m sharing some Farmhouse Christmas Tart Tin Tree Ornaments using them.

Supplies needed:
- Mini Rectangle Tart Tins – I found these little cuties at Kmart Australia. You could always use round ones too.
- Music Sheets
- Scissors
- Pencil
- Red Butchers Twine
- Various Christmas goodies to pop in your tins. I found the little trees and Kmart and all of the other goodies at the Dollar Shop. Candy Cane pipe cleaners were from Spotlight Australia.
- Mod Podge
- Paint Brush
- Glue Gun
- Drill and Drill piece
- Jute
Step 1 – Lay your music sheets on a flat surface. Grab your tin and pencil. Then trace around the base of the tin and cut out. Pending on the size of your jute take your drill and make a hole in the top of the tin.
Step 3 – Brush some mod podge onto the bottom of the cake tin. Pop in your music sheet cut out and firmly press down making sure the sheet has adhered to the tin. Let Dry.
Glueing time – Step 4 – Using your glue gun start glueing down your embellishments.
Step 4 – Add some butchers twine or jute bows.
Step 4 – Make a loop of jute for the hanger and poke through your drilled hole.
And that’s it!! You’re all done and they are ready to hang on your tree, dress up your Christmas present wrapping or give away as a gift! If your a bit stretched for time and don’t have time to make them, you can find them over in my shop!
Be sure to pop on over to the other Farmhouse Hens to see what they have been busy doing!

These are gorgeous. I have always wanted to have a tree in the kitchen with cookie cutters and tins hung on it. These would be perfect.
You have so many beautiful uses for sheet music. My eldest grand daughter has her first piano recital in two weeks. Hopefully I will have time to make one of these for her as a keepsake. Love it.
Thank you, Leanna! I hope you get time to make one for your granddaughter.

Oh, Katrin these are the ones I wanted to make for you for our ornament exchange but didn’t think they were neutral enough for your gorgeous decor! 🙁
These are absolutely adorable, Sam! I’m a sucker for vintage looking ornaments and these are just perfect. Pinned to share and make because my tree needs some of these!
