It’s that fun time of the month again for International Bloggers Club! Where we all get together from all around the world and share fun projects that you can make too! This month it’s all about Easter Projects so today I’m sharing how to make an Easy Farmhouse Bunny Pillow.
How To Make An Easy Farmhouse Bunny Pillow
I love to change out our cushions with the seasons. And it’s so easy to do when you make your own. Because all you need to do is swap out the covers and not have to worry about the insert as well! The covers are a lot easier to store and take up less space instead of the whole cushion.
Supplies needed:
- Ikea Gurli Cushion Covers and Fillers 50cm x 50cm
- IOD Decor Stamp – Typesetting
- IOD Decor Stamp – Floral Swags
- Brayer
- IOD Decor Stamp – Farm Animals
- IOD – Stone Gray Ink
- Iron
Step 1 – Give your cushion cover a nice hot iron to iron out any wrinkles.
Step 2 – Lie out your stamps face down onto your cushion in the way you want your design. Make sure if it’s the first time you’re using your stamps to give them a light sand to rough them up a little. This helps the ink adhere a little better. Join 2 pieces of the clear transfer sheets that come with your stamps with some tape as I did for the tea towels that I made recently. Place over the top of your design and press down on the transfer sheet to make the stamps stick. Flip over your design. Pop out some ink, about 2 to 3 drops and roll your brayer through the ink. Then apply to your stamps. Line up your design and place onto your cushion press down.
Step 3 – Let your cushion dry overnight and then heat set with a really hot iron. Pop your insert in and your good to go!
You can really go to town with all the different designs that you can make.
These are some other fun cushions that I stamped using the farmhouse animals stamps, that you can find over in my SHOP or if you would love to come along to one of our workshops and learn how to make one pop on over here and book your spot!

Sam this is just adorable. It has a vintage quality to it with the stamps. And would look great in anyone’s living room!
Thank you so much, Mary! I love them for that very reason and that you can just about use them on anything!
Todays the day I am going to check if these are available in Canada. They look like so much fun to create with I love your cushion covers. So farmhouse
I hope you find them, Leanna!! You will have an absolute ball with them and have many sleepless nights like me thinking about all of the projects to make!!
Those stamps are awesome Sam, I love how your cute cushion turned out! Bunnies are the best!!
Aren’t they just Katrin! I can’t wait to finish off a furniture project that I am using them on! And yes bunnies are just the cutest!
Sticking the stamp to the transfer film before inking is genius Sam. That makes it so much easier to keep the design in place. Thanks so much for that and all the cushions are beautiful. The light grey ink you used does give it that old, well-loved washed out look.
It sure does Michelle!! There are so many wonderful things you can make with these awesome stamps!
This is so pretty Sam. I love it. Nice Job
