Supplies Needed:

  • A4 piece of Cardboard – I used the insert from a carton of beer left over from Christmas.
  • Pen
  • Scissors
  • Book Pages
  • Jute
  • Hot Glue Gun

Step 1 – Fold your cardboard in half. Draw a half a heart onto the piece of cardboard. Then again on the inside. Cut out the center of the heart to create your wreath.

Step 2 –  Fold your book pages in half and then pinch in the center and ruffle up to create a point. Bend the point forward and glue onto your cardboard wreath.

I then added the word love to the bottom of the suitcase.

  1. This is just too cute! I want to make one with vintage sheet music. I guess I could just cut the music down into book page sizes. I can wait to try! Thanks for linking up at Share The Love Link Party!

  2. It looks so lovely Sam. I so enjoy projects that use old books even though I still twinge a little when a book gets hurt it’s just so much better than them ending up on a landfill somewhere or even worse getting burnt.
