Ok, how many times have you visited Pinterest and pinned an awesome project? Then make a solem promise to yourself that you are going to make it? I’m sure that I would lose count of how many times this has happend, so you are not on your own! With Valentines Day on it’s way and a fun new blog hop, I decided to take a peek at my Valentines Day Board and see what goodies I’ve pinned and make something. Join me as I make a Farmhouse Book Page Heart Wreath inspired by The DIY Mommy.
Farmhouse Book Page Heart Wreath
Supplies Needed:
- A4 piece of Cardboard – I used the insert from a carton of beer left over from Christmas.
- Pen
- Scissors
- Book Pages
- Jute
- Hot Glue Gun
Step 1 – Fold your cardboard in half. Draw a half a heart onto the piece of cardboard. Then again on the inside. Cut out the center of the heart to create your wreath.
Step 2 – Fold your book pages in half and then pinch in the center and ruffle up to create a point. Bend the point forward and glue onto your cardboard wreath.
Step 3 – Continue all the way around your wreath making sure that you glue the book page bunches nice and snuggly next to each other.
Almost there – Step 4 – Flip over your wreath and glue down a jute loop which then becomes your hanger.
Step 5 – Fluff around with the book pages until your happy.
Step 6 – Hang your wreath! In this case I hung our wreath on a Vintage Suitcase that I repuposed into a chalkboard.
I then added the word love to the bottom of the suitcase.
And the sprinkles of love have made it to our recenlty made over corner unit and a big tick next to one of the many pins that I have been wanting to make! Be sure to check out below the other fun pinned projects and recipes that have inspired my blogging pals.
Happy Crafting!

I love how you’re able to take simple ideas and make them look so good! This book page wreath is so pretty displayed on your built-in unit. Pinned.
Thank you so much, Erlene!!
This is just too cute! I want to make one with vintage sheet music. I guess I could just cut the music down into book page sizes. I can wait to try! Thanks for linking up at Share The Love Link Party!
It looks so lovely Sam. I so enjoy projects that use old books even though I still twinge a little when a book gets hurt it’s just so much better than them ending up on a landfill somewhere or even worse getting burnt.
Sam
