Supplies needed:
- 11 Old Book Pages
- Scissors
- IOD Decor Stamp – Typesetting
- IOD Decor Stamp – Queen Bee
- Ink
- Brayer
- Jute
- Tiny Pegs
Step 1 – If it’s the first time that you’re using your stamps, grab some 120 grit sandpaper and rub over the entire stamp in both directions. Because this just opens up the pores of the stamp for better adhesion of the ink.
Step 2 – Lightly fold your book pages in half and mark with a pencil about 4cm up from the bottom. Then using your scissors cut from one corner to the marked spot to create your banner tails. {See Video Tutorial Above}
Step 3 – Pop out some ink onto an old tile or plate and load up your brayer and start stamping the word’s HAPPY EASTER from your Typesetting Decor Stamp onto your book pages. Then using the branch piece from the Queen Bee Decor Stamps, load up a small section of the stamp to give the leafy kind of effect under each letter.
Step 5 – Lay out your banner then peg to your jute. Make sure you have enough jute either side to be able to hang your banner.
And now your banner is all ready to hang!
Happy Stamping!

Love you banner Sam and we have so many old books lying around that have lost some of their pages too. It’s a great way to turn them into something pretty
That’s exactly right, Michelle! They are bursting with character and it would be such a shame to let them go to waste!
What a great idea! I love this!
Thank you so much, Tiffany! It sure was fun to make and might just have to make one for each season!
