One of my most favourite memories growing up would most certainly be the times spent with my Grandparents on their apple farm in Stanley, Victoria. The thrill of visiting when the apple trees were in blossom knowing that in a few months time when we would return for another visit there would be rows upon rows of trees bursting with crispy fresh apples! And of course, I’d be the first one to be slipping on my gumboots and be by Granny’s side helping her pick the apples! After returning from the grocery store with some fresh Granny Smiths yesterday the need to make a printable and reminisce about so many wonderful times shared with my Grandparents on their farm became a priority! So today I’m sharing my Farmhouse Apple Orchard Printable for you to enjoy in your home too!
Farmhouse Apple Orchard Printable
Not only did I have an endless supply of fresh apples at my reach there were plenty of trips to markets to be the best stall holder assistant for my Granny! All of the markets would be held in some of the gorgeous regional areas in Victoria. Sometimes I was even allowed to count the coins at the end of the day!
Not to mention the apple sorting and bagging process! It would felt like I was in my own Willy Wonka Factory but a healthier one!
Then there would be big preparations to make lots of delicious toffee apples for Stanley Fair day. People would come from hours away just to buy my granny’s apples! I so wish I had paid attention to how she made her toffee! It was perfect every time! So feel free to download your free Farmhouse Apple Orchid Printable right here and would love to hear your most favourite memory from when you were younger!
And as they say, An apple a day keeps the doctor away! 😉
Be sure to PIN for later! 🙂

My pleasure Katrin! It’s funny how things prompt the creative juices!! I love it!! Enjoy 🙂
I love that, what sweet memories of happy times with your grandparents! Just the other day my husband reminded me that it’s time to start buying US apples because our apple season is upon us now. Too bad we don’t have many apple orchards in our area so I can go pick my own 🙂

What a lovely memory. If I had an apple farm, I’m afraid I would spend the whole day with it. Picking up those fresh apples is an interesting job, I guess.
It is a fun job but I think you would have to be suited to it Ana for sure 🙂
Your post makes me remember the summer I had together with grandpa. We laughed and talked for a good two hours. We take care of the plants in our farm.
Memories are at their best when shared. . .
Couldn’t agree with you more Thomas! I’m so glad that my post has stirred up some lovely memories of your own!

What a wonderful reason to create a printable! I love the story about your grandparents farm…not sure what gumboots are though. Rubber garden boots? Cute printable thank you for sharing it with our readers at TADA! Thursdays
Yes, here in Australia we call them Gumboots which are the same as your Rubber Garden Boots. Makes me giggle how we have different names for certain things!
