After recently moving into our new home the ceilings are quite high in our kitchen making it a little tricky to decorate. Small signs, frames and bric-a-brac just weren’t doing the trick. They were getting totally lost on the walls. Luckily way before we moved I was out treasure hunting and saw these awesome black and white tea towels. Classic black and white are always guaranteed to stand out.
Oh and before I forget if you’re after some more Farmhouse Inspiration you can see our last months projects here!
- Farmhouse Tea Towel – For my Aussie readers I found this tea towel in Big W for $4. For all of my other lovely readers, I found a set of 2 on Amazon that would do the trick. Especially the second one.
- Thin Dowel
- Small Pegs
Step 1 – Measure up your dowel to fit the width of your tea towel and cut to size. Then cut a piece of jute that your happy with as a hanger and tie off on either side of the dowel.
Step 2 – Give your teatowel a quick iron. Grab your pegs and then hang your tea towel to the dowel. And you’re ready to hang!
Easy peasy lemon squeezy!
As you can see I’ve still got some work to do above the kitchen cabinets! But let’s leave that for another post!
