Step 1 – Make your twig tree. Roll out your clay onto baking paper until about 5mm thick. You don’t want it to be too thin otherwise when you go to thread through the jute they tend to snap if too thin. So the thicker the better.

Step 2 – Using your cookie cutters cut out the required amount of bunnies and eggs. Then with the end of a paint brush make a hole in the top of each decoration. Be sure not to go to close to the edge to avoid breaking and make sure the hole is big enough to thread the jute through. Let dry overnight or pop in the oven on low for 2 hours.

Step 3 –  With your glue gun stick on the pom poms for the bunny tails and attach the lace. Thread through the jute to hang them on your tree.

  1. Those are so cute, I used to love playing with clay when I was little. When I was a teen I made all my nieces and nephews their initial but they were baked and I stuck part of a paper clip in the back so they could be hung. I painted them all.

Wow, what a great memory, one nephew still has his he uses as a Christmas ornament. I need to make some of these again 🙂
