Our bedroom is one of my most favourite places in our house. So it gets some Christmas Sprinkles too. Hubby and I have only been married for two years and a lot of the decorations in our room all year round are things that we used to decorate for our wedding.

My hubby grew up out in the country about 4 hours west of us here in the Blue Mountains. He and his family use to own and run a sawmill which has been in the family for over a hundred years. So in dedication to my sweet hubby on the mantel at our wedding I had this truck with some little logs hanging out of the back with this “Just Married” sign hanging from it! So for Christmas this year I swapped it over for a Chrissy Tree!

I absolutely feel in love with this “fa la la” cushion from Pottery Barn and knew as soon as I saw it that it would find a new home on our bed this Christmas. It was even more enticing as it was on sale! I got the biggest surprise when I received it as it HUGE and so well made!

As I didn’t use our angel on our big tree this year she still graced us on our tree in our room. It was always a tradition for the kids to take it in turns to place her at the top of the tree. But seeing as they aren’t living here anymore it was left up to me! Gosh, it only seems like yesterday I would lift them up onto my shoulders to be able to reach the tree! Where does the time go?

Using the bauble red placemats from last year’s Christmas they added some fun Christmas Sprinkles to our simple staircase rail.
