I have a confession to make! This was a super tricky project to come up with but one of the easiest to make! Sounds crazy right?
I was sitting out on our back the other day thinking about what on earth I was going to make for our fun new Creative Blog Hop. And I just kept drawing blanks… You see this month it’s all about DIY Fall Projects but we are moving into Spring here in Australia. So without bending the rules too much I thought why not blend the two seasons and came up with a Farmhouse Book Page Flower Embroidery Hoop Wreath to share with you!
Farmhouse Book Page Flower Embroidery Hoop Wreath

Supplies needed:
- 9 x Old book pages – I used some left over pages from my Christmas Tablescape from last year
- Hot Glue Gun – This is the one I love and use
- Smycka Eucalyptus Leaves from IKEA – These ones from Amazon would also do the trick!
- Embroidery Hoop – You can often find super cheap ones at your local thrift store.
- Stapler
- Miss Mustard Seed Milk Paint – Antiquing Wax
- Soft lint free cloth
Step 1 – Fold your book page in half and then in half again. Feather out the top of the page and staple the bottom. Repeat until you have all 9 pages complete.
Step 2 – Grab your soft cloth and Antiquing wax and apply to your hoop.
Step 3 – Pull off 9 of the eucalyptus leaves and glue to the back of the flower. You may also need to fluff about a wee bit with your flowers to get them to sit like a flower head.
Step 4 – Glue gun the flowers to the inside of the hoop. I glued the center one first but off to the left hand side and then the two either side. Also if you use the hoop tightener as the top of your wreath this gives you a better gauge to place your first flower off center.
Fluff around with each flower until your happy!
And there you have a fun Farmhouse Book Page Embroidery Hoop Wreath to enjoy throughout what ever season you’re in. Hang it from an old window or door, the possibilities are endless! Be sure to see all of the other DIY Projects my sweet blogging pals have been up to below!

This turned out lovely, you can do so many cool things with book pages. I need to try my hand at paper flower making. And I’m kicking myself for passing up a $2 embroidery hoop at a thrift store the other day. What was I thinking?
