One of the fun things I like to do is change things up a little when decorating my home. Adding some romantic touches is one fun way to do so. It can be as simple as adding some fresh flowers from our garden or making something that has relevance to my family. This is just a sweet reminder to my hubby and kids how much they are loved and that this is and will always be there home. This leads me to share 5 fun Ways to Add Romance to Your Decor.
5 Fun Ways to Add Romance to Your Decor
For our first year anniversary, I made a Frame with a Chalkboard printable for hubby as a gift. On the printable, it had a verse that meant a lot to both of us from the bible which was read during our wedding ceremony! The possibilities are endless with what you can do. It might even be the lyrics to a song that means something to you and your hubby and kids 🙂
This sweet paper rose garland is a super quick project and can adorn any room in your house. I used it to add some softness to our dining room and still hangs there to this day! It creates a lovely ambience when our kids come to visit or friends come for dinner and we eat a meal together!
A super fun project to make that can be hung on any wall in your home. This Polka Dot Love Heart hangs in the busiest part of our home. The small hallway between our kitchen and dining room. Where it is always easily seen 🙂
Using old frames and lovely verses are a nice way to add some Romantic Charm! In this tutorial. I show you how to make a fun Paper Rose Fairy Tail Frame.
It had been such a long time since using air drying clay. It was loads of fun making these Clay Hearts to hand on our twig tree. And you don’t have to stop there! You can use them as gift tags, on place settings for special occasions or even decorations on your Christmas tree! The trick is, is to just let your imagination run free!
These are just a few simple ways to add some romantic touches to your home!
Happy Decorating!
