One of the most problem areas in my home is my office/ Craft studio. I have so many bits and pieces to keep together that I constantly need to get my hands on. I also try to keep most things in easy view so that I don’t forget that I have them in my stash! Keeping this all in mind, I have tried to find things that not only could be used in my office but also in other areas of our home. Then hopefully help you, in some part of your home that needs a little organising and look easy on the eye! Bonus right!!!?? 🙂5 Farmhouse Storage Ideas that are affordable and keep things nicely organised | www.raggedy-bits.com

This Galvanised Chicken feeder is a great way to keep things organised. For someone like me, all of my acrylic paints would fit perfectly in here and transportable from one project to the next. It would make a great display piece for a family get together with all the condiments, napkins and cutlery!

I just love the idea of this old Farmhouse Milk Delivery Box! In here I would store all of my paint brushes in mason jars, so that can all stand up straight and no more bent bristles! It would also find a perfect spot in my kitchen to store all of my kitchen utensils and blend in nicely with all of  other Farmhouse Style goodies in my kitchen!

I love that this Farmhouse Caddy comes on wheels and that each drawer is a different colour!!! A perfect way to store all of my smaller craft items ie buttons, wooden pegs, wooden letters, stamps etc  in mason jars! Out in the kitchen, it would make a perfect vegetable bin! A collection of 5 Farmhouse Storage Ideas that are affordable and easy on the eye | www.raggedy-bits.com

I LOVE this Galvanised Numbered Cubby!! All of my ribbon and jute spools would live in here! But out in the living room, it would be sure to have all of my prized collections. If you have been following me for a while you know how much I love Decorating with Numbers! And this sweet cubby with it’s adorable numbered labels is surely no exception! 😉

Last but not least! These Galvanised Pots are the perfect way to keep all of my scissors, pens and markers together. Most days they are in a GIGANTIC mess in the top drawer of my desk! Cuteness alert for the little chalkboard labels that you can write on! These also would be perfect out in my kitchen to store the fresh herbs from straight out of our garden!

  1. Not only are they great pics for Farmhouse style, I love hearing how you would use them…I can actually visualize it. You widen my perspective on things. I have a container that is wooden and segmented similar shape to your chicken feeder and love it and it is in my office but I have never figured out what to put in it :). You would have had it filled up immediately!

    1. Thank you, Debbie!! I’m so glad that my words have inspired you! I’m sure you will find something extra special to pop in your wooden box! 🙂

  2. Sam, you hit on my achillies heel! I love rustic galvanized tin. Love it! And I want every single one of these. But the chicken feeder and the cubby are my favorites, I think. But then I look at those tin pots, adorable. I’ve decided, I want them all!

  3. This is a really great collection Sam. I love anything that looks old, and we all know how much we labor to get that look. Lol! Galvanized is also a very interesting look that has lots of character and history. Pinning and sharing.

  4. Oh my I want all of these. They are so lovely and I could use them in my home for sure. Thanks for sharing at Dishing it and Digging it link party. It’s so great having you.

    1. You’re welcome Debbie! I love putting together collections of things that I think will be useful and also pretty on the eye 😉
