I had some paper roses left over from my Fairy Tale Frame and thought that I might add some romantic touches to our hutch for Valentines Day. I don’t really do very much decorating for Valentines Day because hubby and I are true believers that you should show the ones you love every day not just for one day! But I’m sure that this easy peasy 10 minute DIY Farmhouse Paper Rose Doily Garland will be used for other occasions too!

Step 1 – Measure the length of where you would like to hang your garland. This will gauge how many doilies you need for your garland. Take your glue gun and glue the paper roses to the centre of each doily.

Step 3 –  Measure a piece of butchers twine accordingly making sure that you leave enough at each end to be able to tie it off. Thread the twine through the holes of the doilies so that it is at the back of each doily.

  1. How sweet is this? It makes a huge impact, and Valentines Decorations are my second favorite holiday decor. What’s more eye catching than pink/love decor items? This looks so sweet on the front of your hutch.

I had no idea that paper flowers could be so pretty. They would also look so sweet in a little girls room.

BTW, I also love the new look of the site. So fresh and bright, it really shows off your projects well. Congrats.

  3. I love pink roses and I love doilys! What a great combo. Why limit it to JUST Valentine’s? It would go year round here!

    1. Definitely don’t need to just limit it to Valentines, Kathy! I currently have the garland hanging in my daughter’s room! Sky’s the limit!! 🙂
