It took me forever to figure out how to spruce up our laundry….. and then… we moved house. Does this happen to you? You get an idea and have everything planned out and then boom one thing changes and you’re back to square one. Don’t get me wrong we are so happy in our new house but the laundry is a completely different shape, size and colour. So I’ve thrown the old plans out the window and started with a clean fresh slate and put together a mood board of 10 Farmhouse Laundry Favourites to share with you in hope that they inspire you too!

The whole buying a new washing machine was what sparked the urge to give our old laundry a new look. So keeping in line with our love for all things Vintage Farmhouse I started on home decor that we already had that was dated but could be given a new look. The first piece was this washboard and there will be some other projects to follow!
What better way than to make a pile of dirty laundry look pretty in a Vintage Style Laundry Basket. The bonus is that the basket is on wheels and can be easily moved around!
We have exposed shelving in our new laundry and these Lined Ticking Material Wire Baskets will work a treat to bring some organisation to all those pesky lost socks and fiddly items.
Don’t you think a set of oversized safety pins would make the perfect wall art? Ideal to add some Vintage Farmhouse charm.
A galvanised caddy to pop all of your cleaning bits and pieces in. We have a similar caddy. The caddy is great for storing tools like hammers and screwdrivers.
There’s something so much nicer when doing piles of endless laundry to grab a scoop of powder from a fancy Laundry Powder container don’t you think?
Lots of functional items like this cool hook can also make great Vintage Farmhouse additions to your laundry.
A faux green plant adds some colour to empty spots.
If you’re limited for space these wire baskets will surely do the trick.
If you don’t have an old washboard-like mine to give a little makeover to I also found this one.
I have saved my most favourite until last!! This Laundry Sign will tie in with the washboard perfectly if all goes to plan!
Slowly our house is becoming a home and the box jungle is shrinking! I’m looking forward to sharing how our laundry all comes together!
Be sure to PIN for later!

I absolutely love the wire laundry basket, must be an age thing because I would take that basket over new shoes.

Thank you!! Some days I feel like I am just spinning my wheels but other days it all comes together!! I know it’s going to take a while and I will probably change things around 367 times!! But hey that’s all part of the fun right?
